Rice Paddy is the founding business of WhateverDeli: the first operating cell from which the independent work grew. Running a restaurant exposed the recurring work behind service – supplies, administration, staff coordination and guest communication.
The work keeps us grounded.
The restaurant remains the origin of the wider operating house. The tools that followed began with a real job someone had to perform during a real working day.
